For Use On : Fires caused by the combustion of flammable liquids such as petrol, oils, fats and paints known as Class B fires which also includes liquidfiable solids such as wax, plastics and tar. Foam is also very good for fires of solid materials, such as wood, paper and soft furnishing - described as Class A fires.

Not suitable for : Deep fat fryer fires. For these type of fires use the wet chemical fire extinguishers which are classed as Class F or flammable metals
